If you pay Engle Day School to care for a child so you can work, you may be able to reduce your federal income tax by claiming the credit for tuition and fees expenses on your tax return. This credit is available to people who, in order to work or to look for work, have to pay for child care services for dependents under age 13.
There are 2 types of reductions from the federal government:
One effectively reduces your taxable income so you pay less in taxes. Click here for more information from IRS.
Another will reduce your taxes dollar for dollar. Click here for more information from IRS.
We cannot give you tax advice. Please consult your tax advisor, the IRS, and state revenue officials to confirm your eligibility for any of the tax matters above.
We offer fee assistance in the form of a percentage discount to active duty military families when child care at their place of work does not exist or if one is availabe but the families are waitlisted. We only need an employment verification letter from the personnel. In addition, from time to time, we offer other subsidies/coupons as well.
We offer parent-teacher conferences throughout the year. Parents can conncet with their child and teacher in the same place.
We organize many community events where parents and grand parents are invited to share their child's day in school.
Engle Day School
This is a big decision for the parents. We invite you to make an appointment to see our school and learn about our program. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and see the classrooms in action. It is the best way to get a feel for the school and to decide if Engle Day School is right for your child. We encourage you to speak directly with the school director to explain your individual concerns. Fees vary with age and type of program. Generally, our parents pay less for older children than for younger.
In 2017, our full-time tuition includes breakfast, snack and lunch for each student. We have a full kitchen on-campus. From time to time, we will inform you of the menu for the kids.
Parents can enroll their children any time during the year. We have limited availability for infants. We offer full-day, half day mornings and half-day afternoon for 2-3-5 days per week. We do not bind parents under a long term contract. However, we do require a 30 day advance notice based on calendar month. This helps waitlisted parents plan better for their children.
